Q1. What is a laboratory test?
By definition, it's a medical procedure that involves testing a sample of blood, urine or
other substance from the body.
Q2. What is useful about knowing the results of these tests?
ANY LAB TEST NOW® offers you the ability to make choices about your health. Many
serious illnesses and diseases can be prevented by managing your healthcare. Knowing
the results of your tests can help you make necessary decisions that can save, prolong
and improve the quality of your life.
Q3. What is the process in having a test?
An ANY LAB TEST NOW® staff person will gently draw the necessary amount of blood or
specimen needed for the specific test, label it appropriately, and send it to our certified
laboratory for analysis. Results will be delivered the next day in most cases.
Q4. How will I interpret the results of my test?
The results are in an easy-to-read format that clearly states if the test is within the
normal range.
Q5. Is my order refundable?
No.
Q6. What is the difference between a laboratory and a draw center?
A laboratory is a place where specimens such as blood and urine are analyzed by a
technician or doctor through a series of machines. A draw center is a location where a
specimen is taken and sent to a laboratory. ANY LAB TEST NOW® is a draw center.
Q7. Do I need to fast before taking a test?
Glucose and Cholesterol/Lipid testing
should be done fasting. Come in the morning before you have
breakfast.
Q8. How will I receive my test results?
You can choose to have your test results mailed, faxed or picked up. Confidentiality and
discretion are of the utmost importance to ANY LAB TEST NOW®.
Q9. Do I need an appointment?
No appointment is necessary. Simply visit a clinic near you during our convenient
hours of operation.

Q11. Will you keep my test results on record?
Yes.
Q12. Who should I call with questions about my test?
Questions about obtaining your results should be directed to the store where your specimen was given. Questions specific to explaining or interpreting the results should be directed by your private physician. If you have lost contact with your private physician, we can direct you to another.
Q13. Will my insurance, Medicare, or Medicaid pay for my test?
Insurance will occasionally pay for tests done at Any Lab Test Now. We do not accept Medicare or Medicaid, although we have a medicare waiver option. Call for details.
Q14. What happens if my test result is out of range?
ANY LAB TEST NOW® does not provide any medical counsel. If your test results are out of range, a staff person will recommend that you visit your physician.
Q15.
Are my test results admissible as evidence in a paternity case?
Yes. If you are getting a paternity test , for example, there are two choices - one that is admissible in court as evidence (called Chain of Custody) or one that is not.
Q16. Do I have to show an ID card in-store?
No, tests may be taken anonymously. Customers have the option of using their true identity or an anonymous name.
Q17. How does ANY LAB TEST NOW® protect my privacy?
Customer privacy is extemely important to ANY LAB TEST NOW® and it will do everything possible to protect the privacy of its customers.
Customers have the option of taking a test anonymously and choosing which method to receive their lab test results (U.S. Mail, Fax, Pick Up). If a customer chooses to test anonymously, they may be required to give a birth date or show a sales receipt for verification.
Because ANY LAB TEST NOW® does not utilize insurance, your results are not given to your physician and not included on your medical record. However, customers may provide the results to their phyisican if desired.
All ANY LAB TEST NOW® employees are trained on HIPAA regulations and compliance.
